Bluegrass Crime Stoppers names Wanted Person of the Week

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Police are asking for the public’s help locating a man featured as this week’s Bluegrass Crime Stoppers Wanted Person of the Week.

According to the Lexington Police Department, officers are trying to locate Tramell Young, who has an active warrant for violation of supervised release.

Investigators describe Young as being 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 215 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. His date of birth is listed as February 25, 1979.

Authorities say anyone with information about Young’s whereabouts is encouraged to come forward. Tips can be submitted anonymously through Bluegrass Crime Stoppers, and a cash reward may be offered for information that leads to an arrest.

Police remind the public not to approach anyone believed to be wanted and instead contact law enforcement directly.
