Kentucky State Police investigating deadly crash after car hits tree in Allen County

ALLEN COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that happened Sunday afternoon in Allen County.

According to Kentucky State Police Post 3 in Bowling Green, troopers were called around 4:30 p.m. to Franklin Road after a car reportedly left the roadway and struck a tree.

Investigators say the driver, Toni Hudson, 66, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Allen County Coroner.

Troopers say the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
