Kentucky State Police investigating two deaths at Pendleton County home
DRY RIDGE, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky State Police is investigating after two people were found dead outside a home in Pendleton County late Sunday night.
According to a release from KSP Post 6 in Dry Ridge, deputies with the Pendleton County Sheriff’s Office were called to a residence around 11 p.m. for a welfare check on Camille McClanahan. When deputies arrived, they discovered two people deceased in the yard.
KSP says McClanahan, 40, was found with what appears to be a gunshot wound. A second person, identified as 50-year-old James Hall, was also found dead from an apparent gunshot wound that investigators believe was self-inflicted.
State police took over the case at the request of the sheriff’s office and say the investigation is ongoing.
