Versailles Police search for bank robbery suspect

VERSAILLES, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Police in Woodford County are asking for the public’s help as they work to track down a man accused of robbing a bank in Versailles.

According to the Versailles Police Department, the robbery happened just before 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the PNC Bank. Investigators say the suspect — who was captured on surveillance cameras — walked away with an undisclosed amount of cash before running from the scene.

Officers have released an image of the man in hopes that someone will recognize him and come forward.
