Gerber recalls arrowroot baby biscuits over possible contamination

(ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Baby food manufacturer Gerber has issued a voluntary nationwide recall of some of its arrowroot baby biscuits.

According to the company, the recalled products may contain pieces of soft plastic and paper.

Gerber says the recall is being conducted out of an abundance of caution. So far, no injuries or illnesses have been reported in connection with the recalled products.

The company also says it is no longer working with the flour supplier that initially identified the issue and prompted the recall.
