Popular burger place to permanently close after more than 15 years in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A popular Lexington restaurant is closing its doors for good.

In a post on Facebook, Bad Wolf Burgers announced it will permanently close after 15 and a half years in business. The restaurant, located on North Forbes Road, says its final day of service will be Wednesday, Dec. 31.

In its post, the restaurant reflected on its time serving the Lexington community.

“From the very beginning, this place has been about more than burgers — it’s been about community, conversations, laughter, regulars who became family, and memories we will carry forever,” the post said. “We are beyond grateful for every customer who walked through our doors, supported us, shared a meal, and believed in us over the years.”

The post went on to thank customers for their continued support throughout the years.

“Thank you to everyone who showed up, spread the word, brought friends, and made Bad Wolf Burgers what it was,” the restaurant wrote. “Your support meant everything, and we couldn’t have done this journey without you.”

Bad Wolf Burgers did not cite a specific reason for the closure.
