Armed robbery reported at Laurel County gas station

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect accused of robbing a gas station late Tuesday night.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says the Marathon Superstation on Barbourville Road, about four miles south of London, was robbed at gunpoint around 10:48 p.m. An undisclosed amount of money was taken, and the suspect fled the scene on foot.
