Man found dead following house fire in Pike County

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say the body of a man was found after a house fire in Pike County.

Police say the fire broke out Wednesday afternoon in the Virgie community.

After the fire was put out, crews say they found the man dead.

An autopsy was scheduled for Thursday.

Police say foul play is not suspected.
