Stanton Elementary students to return to Classes in New School Building

STANTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Students at Stanton Elementary School will return from winter break to a brand-new building, marking a major milestone for the school and community.

On Tuesday, students and faculty walked out of the old school building for the final time. Staff members will spend the remainder of the week packing classrooms and moving materials into the new facility.

School officials say students will report to the new Stanton Elementary School building when classes resume on Jan. 6.

The transition comes after months of preparation, with administrators saying the new building will provide updated learning spaces and improved resources for students and staff.
