Three displaced after overnight house fire on Lane Allen Road

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Three people are without a home after a late-night fire heavily damaged a house on Lane Allen Road in Lexington.

Firefighters were called just before 11 p.m. Sunday and arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the single-story home. According to the Lexington Fire Department, crews battled the fire for hours as substantial flames and heavy smoke spread throughout the structure.

No injuries were reported, but officials say the home sustained significant damage, leaving all three occupants displaced.

Investigators are still working to determine what caused the fire.
