Child dies in Pulaski County fire

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A child was killed in an early-morning fire in Pulaski County.

The fire started at a home on Keeney Road around 4:40 a.m.

According to the Pulaski County Coroner’s Office, a 12-year-old boy was unable to get out of the home and died.

The coroner says the boy’s father and a 5-year-old girl made it out safe.

The mother was taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
