Jimbo Fisher’s coaching tree stretching to Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ) – In college football, coaching trees can run deep and that’s never more evident than this weekend.

Both Mark Stoops and Eddie Gran coached under Texas A&M head coach at Florida State.

Stoops and Gran actually coached during the same stint from 2010-2012.

Stoops was the defensive coordinator and Gran was over running backs and special teams.

In 2012, Stoops would leave for Kentucky and Gran would spend a few years at Cincinnati before Stoops would hire him at UK.
