Fayette and Jessamine county schools closed Wednesday due to weather

FAYETTE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Due to dangerously cold temperatures, all Fayette County Public Schools and Jessamine County Schools will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 30.

All school activities are also cancelled.

Jessamine County schools will have a Non-Traditional Instruction day.

FCPS officials say they will continue to monitor the weather to make determinations about Thursday and Friday, should conditions warrant.
