Former Anderson Co. HS bookkeeper sentenced

ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) — A woman accused of stealing thousands of dollars while working as bookkeeper at Anderson County High School has been sentenced, according to the Anderson News.

42-year-old Kristi McIntosh was fired from the position after more than $12,000 in various student fees went missing.

The newspaper says McIntosh pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of theft by unlawful taking, under $500, in return for the sentence that will keep her out of prison.

It adds she will instead be on supervised probation throughout the five-year term.

McIntosh was indicted for theft of more than $10,000 back in March.
