Cat dies in Lexington house fire

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) -A cat died during a fire on Monday morning in Lexington, according to officials.

They say the fire happened in the 1900 block of Glengarry Way just before 8 a.m.

The home owners were out of town when the fire happened, according to investigators.

The firefighters say the house was heavily damaged.

The cause is still under investigation.
