LPD: Police searching for shooting suspect

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police are still searching for a suspect after a witness saw a man open fire right in her driveway.

Police say just after 1:30 a.m. they were called to Laredo Drive, where a witness saw the man standing in their driveway before he opened fire.

According to that witness, the suspect was a man wearing a dark hoodie.

Police say the man opened fire and shot one round straight through the witness’s front door.

They say the witness’s car and a neighbor’s car were also hit by rounds.

They also say officers found shell casings on the street.

According to police, no one was hurt.

Police say they are still searching for a suspect.
