UK Beats Transy In Exhibition Game 76-42
The Kentucky Wildcats kicked-off their short basketball exhibition season Friday night at Rupp Arena.
The Cats took on neighboring Transylvania.
Before the game, Brian Lane’s club continued a tradition.
The team literally walked the four blocks from campus to the game.
Once inside, the pre-season number one team in America led by eleven at the half.
UK then began the second half with a 13-0 run, and went on to win by 34.
The final score was 76-42.
Kentucky’s Julius Randle led all scorers, turning in a double-double with 16-points and 12-rebounds.
He was the only Cat in double figures.
Next up for Kentucky is exhibition game number two against Montevallo.
It happens Monday at 7:00 p.m. in Rupp Arena.
