Laurel Co. coroner believes woman found dead in driveway died from hypothermia

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County coroner’s office says preliminary results have come back for the woman found dead in her driveway Sunday morning.

The coroner’s office says they believe Glynda Smith died from hypothermia, no foul play involved.

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says they have opened an investigation after finding a dead woman near London Sunday morning.

They say they found 72-year-old Glynda Smith in her driveway off Fisherman Island Road just after 11:30 a.m.

Investigators are still working to figure out how she died. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
