Police Cruiser Hit By Stolen Car
A police cruiser was hit Tuesday morning after officers tried to pull over three people in a stolen car in Lexington
Police said an officer was out searching for stolen vehicles when he spotted one off Greentree Road at around 12:50 a.m.
Another officer arrived for backup and they were able to corner the driver on Post Oak Court.
Police said that’s when three men jumped out of the stolen car and ran off.
They said the stolen car was not in park and kept rolling, hitting the police cruiser on its front bumper.
Police are still searching for the suspects.
