Nurse technician accused of sexual assault at Cardinal Hill appears in court
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A nurse technician accused of sexually assaulting a patient at a rehabilitation facility was due in court Friday. According to court records, 61-year-old Johnnie Sparkman was scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 8:30 a.m. on sodomy charges.
Police say Sparkman was arrested Monday after a report of a sexual assault involving a patient at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Center on Versailles Road. According to investigators, the patient was recovering from surgery at the time of the alleged assault.
