Richmond man sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for producing child pornography
RICHMOND, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Richmond man has been sentenced to 360 months in federal prison after admitting to producing child pornography involving a minor.
According to federal investigators, Glen Long Jr. will serve 30 years behind bars after reaching a plea agreement with prosecutors.
Officials say the case began on July 28, 2023, when the mother of a minor child contacted law enforcement after discovering her child had been sending nude images to an adult male online in exchange for money for the video game Roblox. Investigators reviewed the messages on the victim’s cellphone and identified Long as the person communicating with the child.
According to court documents, Long knew the victim was 14 years old and lied about his own age, pretending to be 16. He later admitted to using the minor to produce explicit images.
Once Long completes his prison sentence, he will be supervised by the U.S. Probation Office for the rest of his life.
