Young child saved from dangerous road by animal control officers

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A young boy, on the autism spectrum, is now safe, after animal control officers rescued him Monday, from what they say is a dangerous area.

According to officials, the child was near a dangerous stretch of New Circle Road, when two animal control officers spotted him.

Officials say they stopped the young boy from going out into the road, and kept him safe, while waiting for police.
