Deputies arrest two people with 28 ounces of meth

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people after a four-month-long drug trafficking investigation.

55 year-old James Woods and 42 year-old Tammy Vast are accused of trafficking meth. Woods is also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Sheriff’s Office says they found over 28 ounces of crystal meth inside a home off American Greeting Card Road in Laurel County. They also found a scale and baggies.

The Sheriff’s Office says they expect to make more arrests related to the investigation.
