New, Wider Stretch Of U.S. 25 Now Open To Drivers
The drive from Georgetown to Lexington is now easier.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Wednesday for a new, wider section of U.S. Highway 25.
A section of the road from Etter Lane to a point near Ironworks Pike is now four lanes.
Phase two is next.
Three miles of U.S. 25 will be widened from Ironworks to Spurr Road.
