UPDATE: Missing Anderson County teen found safe

HARRODSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – Authorities have found a missing Anderson County teenager.
Harrodsburg Police says they found Alexander Strayer safe in a restaurant Monday evening in Harrodsburg which is located in the neighboring county.
According to the Anderson County Fire Chief, Strayer is in good condition and his parents traveled to pick him up in Mercer County.
“We’re just thankful it had a positive result. Too many times unfortunately it does not and so we’re thankful for a positive result and thankful for all the help,” said Patrick Krogman, Anderson County Fire Chief.
Strayer went missing in Anderson County Saturday.

ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- First responders in Anderson County worry a teenage boy could be in danger Sunday night out in the cold.
Anderson County EMS says 16-year-old Alexander Strayer hasn’t been seen since Saturday night near the Open Hands Food Pantry.
Dispatchers say he is about 4’11”, 100 pounds.
He will likely have a back brace on because he recently had surgery.
