Kentucky Horse Park offers winter activities and Stall-Side Chats for visitors

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Winter has arrived at the Kentucky Horse Park, but there’s still plenty to see and do for visitors looking for a fun seasonal outing.

The park is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering a variety of activities including Stall-Side Chats, fascinating museums, and cozy films in the Wrigley Media Theater.

While the horses take a break from shows during the colder months, they’re still eager to meet guests. Visitors can enjoy daily chats with the Mounted Police at 10:15 a.m., the Hall of Champions at 10:45 a.m., the Breeds Barn at 11:15 a.m., and the Big Barn at 11:45 a.m.

In the afternoon, mini Stall-Side Chats begin at 1:15 p.m., followed by museum activities at 2:00 p.m., and additional chats at 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
