Thirteenth Annual Diana Ross Coat drive begins Wednesday

FAYETTE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is kicking off its 13th annual Diana Ross Coat Drive Wednesday, continuing a long-standing effort to keep Lexington families warm during the winter months.

Donations of new and gently used coats can be dropped off at Chase Dry Cleaners, located at 325 South Ashland Avenue. The sheriff’s office says community generosity has been key to the drive’s success, providing thousands of coats to those in need over the years.

Collections will continue through December 5, giving residents plenty of time to donate and help their neighbors stay warm this season.
