Golden alert issued in search for missing woman
LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Golden Alert has been issued in Laurel County for a missing woman who hasn’t been seen in more than a week.
According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, 26-year-old Shelby Booker was last seen around noon on October 28 near Nu Way Trail outside London. She was wearing jean shorts and an oversized hoodie.
Deputies say Booker is about 5 feet tall and weighs around 125 pounds. Investigators believe she may be bipolar and could be headed toward Fairfax, Virginia.
Anyone with information about her current whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.
