Lexington Police arrest suspect in fatal Georgetown Street hit-and-run

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Lexington Police Department says a suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run that happened on October 25 on Georgetown Street near Price Road.

According to a post from Lexington Police on X, 23-year-old Jacob Holland was arrested Monday and charged with leaving the scene of an accident and tampering with physical evidence.

Police had previously asked for the public’s help in locating Holland, who was wanted on active warrants related to the case.
