Missing Laurel County teen found safe, police say

UPDATE:

LONDON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The search for a missing Laurel County teenager is over.

According to the London Police Department, 15-year-old Chesney Caldwell has been found safe. Officers say he was reported missing Wednesday morning.

Police located Caldwell after pinging his phone, which led them to Whitley County. Investigators say he was found with two other juveniles who had also been reported missing.

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – London Police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 15-year-old boy.

Chesney Caldwell was last seen around 7:34 a.m. Sunday morning. He is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 127 pounds, with brown hair just above the ears and brown eyes. Caldwell was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt and sweatpants, and may also have been wearing necklaces.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact their local law enforcement agency immediately.
