Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries after being hit by car in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Lexington Police say a person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car late Saturday night.
The crash happened just after 11:30 p.m. near East New Circle and Eastland Parkway. Officers say the road was closed for a short time while they investigated the scene.
Police say the driver remained on site and cooperated with investigators. It’s not yet known whether any charges will be filed.
The investigation remains ongoing.
