Man accused of firing shots at car with woman and child inside

WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- In Whitley County a man is accused of firing shots at a car a woman and child were in.

Tuesday, a woman told deputies 28-year-old Justin Adams blocked her from leaving the Black Diamond Road area twice, shooting at her car.

Around 6:30 p.m. a deputy says he found Adams, who led him on a car chase reaching speeds of 80 to 90 miles per hour.

Eventually, the deputy held Adams at gunpoint until he was arrested.

He says he saw a pistol hidden under the steering column and bullets in the car.
