Special called city council meeting scheduled in London

LONDON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A special called city council meeting is set for Friday in London.

The meeting, called by Mayor Randall Weddle, comes after most of the city’s council members were a no-show during a scheduled meeting on Monday (10/06).

Items on the agenda include housing authority board appointments and the second reading for a property tax ordinance.

The meeting will be held in the community center.
