TSA and Air Traffic Workers eligible for free meals at TGI Fridays during shutdown

(ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Air traffic control and Transportation Security Administration employees can eat free at TGI Fridays during the government shutdown. Workers who have been on the job without pay since October 1 can present their employee ID to receive one free meal per day.

Menu options include a cheeseburger, chicken fingers, chicken sandwich, or chicken Caesar salad. TGI Fridays has more than 80 locations across the United States, including at airports.

The offer runs through October 23. If the government shutdown ends before that date, the promotion will conclude early.
