UK women’s basketball adds four star recruit in class of 2026

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Kenny Brooks and the Kentucky women’s basketball picked up their third commitment in the class of 2026 on Wednesday evening. Emily McDonald joins Maddyn Greenway and Savvy Swords in the Wildcats 2026 class.

The guard out of Long Island Lutheran, in New York, is a current teammate of fellow commit Savvy Swords. According to Rivals, she is the 36th ranked recruit in the class of 2026, and chose the Wildcats over the likes of South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Michigan State, North Carolina, TCU, and Maryland.
