Campbellsville woman charged after stabbing

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Campbellsville Police arrested a woman Wednesday after a reported stabbing at a home on Smith Ridge Road.

Officers say they found a female victim with multiple stab wounds. Her current condition has not been released.

Police took 35-year-old Kayla Thompson into custody and charged her with first-degree assault.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
