Crews rescue man who fell off cliff

ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Emergency crews faced a challenging rescue after a man fell from a cliff in the Lilly Mountain Nature Preserve Wednesday.

Officials say the man fell about 20 to 40 feet down a ravine near Crooked Creek Road around noon. Search and rescue teams navigated rough terrain to reach him and used multiple rope systems to bring him safely out of the area.

The man was later flown to UK Hospital for treatment. His condition has not been released.
