Man shot, hospitalized as search for suspect continues

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A search is underway for a suspect after a man was shot in Lexington Monday night.

Police say officers were called to Ohio Street around 7:30 p.m. and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say no suspect information has been released at this time. Anyone with information is urged to contact Lexington Police or submit an anonymous tip through Bluegrass Crime Stoppers.
