Hit-and-run in Harrodsburg injures two pedestrians at Lexington and College streets
HARRODSBURG, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A hit-and-run accident in Harrodsburg left two pedestrians injured Saturday, according to the Harrodsburg Police Department.
Officials said the driver of the vehicle ran a red light at the intersection of Lexington Street and College Street, struck two people who were walking in the crosswalk, and left the scene without rendering aid.
Both pedestrians were transported to a local trauma center.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to contact local authorities.
The investigation is ongoing.
