Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman to visit Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman made stops in Lexington and Berea on Friday.

At 9:30 a.m., she spoke at the Kentucky Association of Teacher Educators Conference, which focused on improving teacher education across the state.

Later, at 11 a.m., Coleman traveled to Berea to announce the expansion of the Rise Up program. The initiative provides first-generation homebuyers with up to $25,000 in grants for down payments and closing costs.
