Lexington to host ‘Walk a Mile in Our Shoes’ on National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Organizers in Lexington are preparing for this year’s “Walk a Mile in Our Shoes” event, scheduled for Thursday, September 25, as part of the National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims.

The gathering will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Lyric Theatre on East Third Street.

The annual event brings together families, community members, and advocates to remember victims of homicide while raising awareness about violence prevention and support for survivors.
