Aspire Appalachia honors Jayden Spicer

BREATHITT COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A new community program is keeping alive the memory of 10-year-old Jayden Spicer, whose life was tragically cut short in August.

Aspire Appalachia has launched “Jayden’s Birthday Closet,” an initiative that provides gifts to children in foster care so they can celebrate birthdays that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Community members have already stepped forward to donate items, helping bring joy to kids in need. Organizers say even one gift can make a lasting impact.

Jayden’s Birthday Closet continues to accept donations, honoring his memory by spreading hope and happiness to foster children across the region.
