Crews working on an active burning semi-truck

ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Emergency crews are on the scene of a semi truck fire in Mount Vernon.

According to the Mount Vernon Fire Department, the fire is along South Wilderness Road between Chestnut Ridge and Kentucky Farm Bureau. Firefighters are asking drivers to avoid the area and give emergency personnel plenty of room as they work.
