Kentucky educators gather for Continuous Improvement Summit

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Educators from across the state are in Lexington this week for the Kentucky Department of Education’s Continuous Improvement Summit.

The two-day event, held Monday and Tuesday at the Central Bank Center, brings together teachers, administrators, and district leaders to focus on new strategies, updates, and best practices for Kentucky schools.

This year’s keynote speaker is Missy Testerman, the 2024 National Teacher of the Year, who will share insights on student success and the importance of high expectations in the classroom.

Sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including early literacy, new accountability updates, and lessons from 13 “Best Practice” award winners.
