Bluegrass Crime Stoppers revisits 1998 Lexington homicide

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Bluegrass Crime Stoppers is highlighting a decades-old case as its Crime of the Week.

On Saturday, Nov. 7, 1998, Lexington police responded to 121 Malibu Drive to assist firefighters at a structure fire. Inside the business, investigators discovered the body of Linda Rutledge. According to Lexington Police, Rutledge had injuries unrelated to the fire.

Her death remains under investigation. Detectives are urging anyone with information to come forward.
