University of Kentucky marking Constitution Day with campus events
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The University of Kentucky is celebrating Constitution Day on Wednesday with events highlighting the nation’s founding document.
Faculty, staff, and students will gather on the steps of the Rosenberg Law Building to read provisions of the U.S. Constitution aloud. The Law Library will also showcase a special book display and distribute pocket-sized copies of the Constitution.
Across campus at the Gatton Student Center, the “Your Constitution, Your Voice” event runs until 1 p.m., offering resources on voting and civic engagement. Both events are free and open to the public.
