Bengals sign two new quarterbacks after Burrow injury

Cincinnati, Oh. (ABC 36 News Now) – The Cincinnati Bengals have made changes at the quarterback position today in the after math of the Joe Burrow injury on Sunday. The Bengals signed quarterbacks Mike White and Sean Clifford to their practice squads, while elevating quarterback Brett Rypien from the practice squad to the active roster.

White was a fifth round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Western Kentucky. He has been a member of the Dallas Cowboys, New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, and the Buffalo Bills throughout his NFL career.

Clifford was a fifth round pick, as well, in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Penn State. He was previously a member of the Green Bay Packers for his first two seasons.
