Overnight closures set for North Limestone in Lexington during sewer project

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Drivers in Lexington should prepare for overnight road closures on North Limestone starting Monday, according to city officials.

The roadway will be shut down from Rosemary Avenue to New Circle Road between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., Monday through Thursday, as crews work on a sewer construction project. The work is expected to wrap up September 24.

Detours will be posted. Drivers can use North Broadway, Withers Avenue, Bluegrass Avenue, and Bryan Avenue to get around.

Officials said businesses will remain accessible and traffic will not be impacted during daytime hours. They are also urging drivers to slow down and watch for crews in the area.
