KSP: 14-year-old killed in UTV crash in Pike County
PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a deadly UTV crash that killed a juvenile in Pike County Friday night.
Troopers said the crash happened around 7:10 p.m. on an off-road trail near Pinsonfork Road. According to investigators, a 2021 Can-Am UTV overturned with two juveniles inside.
The passenger, a 14-year-old, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Pike County Coroner. The juvenile driver was taken to a hospital for treatment.
KSP said the collision remains under investigation. Local fire departments and emergency crews assisted at the scene.
