First Central Kentucky Wawa set to open in Nicholasville this Friday

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A new Wawa gas station and convenience store will officially open to the public Friday in Jessamine County.

It’s the first Wawa location in Central Kentucky. The store is located on Lexington Road in Nicholasville.

The first 250 customers will receive a free T-shirt.

Media outlets were invited for a preview inside before the opening, where the director of Midwest operations spoke about Wawa’s expansion into the Bluegrass.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Friday.
